get in tune with my life
tomorrow is the straits times national school's newspaper competition results. please pray for my team of people.
past 2 days was at the old folks home. had to do about the same stuff. yesterday was my last day there.
random here 'always and forever' by planet shakers is perfected :) next thing to master: tapping things that are mastered on guitar: -chop -power chords -bar chords -finger picking -a few strumming patterns -hammering -pull offs -palm muting -playing dead notes -bending things that have yet to master on guitar: -fast finger movements -more fluent on improvisations -tremolo -tapping -tuning without the electric tuner or any other instrument -building up stamina for strumming faster songs -new strumming patterns
I'm staring out into the night,
Trying to hide the pain.
I'm going to the place where love
And feeling good don't ever cost a thing.
And the pain you feel's a different kind of pain.
Well I'm going home,
Back to the place where I belong,
And where your love has always been enough for me.
I'm not running from.
No, I think you got me all wrong.
I don't regret this life I chose for me.
But these places and these faces are getting old,
So I'm going home.
Well I'm going home.
The miles are getting longer, it seems,
The closer I get to you.
I've not always been the best man or friend for you.
But your love, it makes true.
And I don't know why.
You always seem to give me another try.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all,
And then some you don't want.
Be careful what you wish for,
'Cause you just might get it all.
You just might get it all, yeah.
* bible verse of the week *
Hebrews 12:11
No discipline seems pleasent at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
